Just a quick check, has anyone automated setting up wordfence? I have ~100 sites that need the plugin installed. Logging in to each of them and manually accepting the license. There is wordfence::importSettings , but that does not activate the license and do the htaccess thing :).

    Currently digging through the source.

  • That should be possible using a multiple-site management solution such as MainWP, iThemes Sync, or ManageWP.

Do those skip the license agreement, keys, htaccess? ??

(managewp doesn’t seem to contain any code relating to wordfence at all, for instance)

Hi @magnusjjj, thanks for getting in touch.

Accepting the license agreement for free installations currently has to be done on each installation. Users who have premium sites connected to Central can accept terms across all sites, but if they’re all new installations, that still requires adding keys to each site individually.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

Why doesn’t Wordfence have a wp-cli integration yet for this purpose?
