Automate Backup WordPress Folder via SSH and MySQL DB

  • Hi WordPress Users!

    I am running different wordpress installs on different hosters.
    All hosters provide FTP Access and MySQL Access from externally.
    I want to automate my Backups via scripts

    1: copy wordpress folders over night via ssh
    2: create local backup of mysql DBs

    I am sure there are guides for that already out, i did a quick search and found material on that topic but somewhat outdated, maybe you can point me to latest material.
