Autolocate fail

  • Is there a way to display specific HTML content or show the “no results found” message if someone refuses the geolocate pop-up? The “start point” location doesn’t respect the distance radius so it shows a random location very far away that’s irrelevant to the user. Any help would be appreciated!

  • Hi,

    Unfortunately, for the plugin to work as it is intended, a start point is needed somehow, whether it comes from the browser geo location or, as a fallback, from the mandatory start point that you have to define in the settings.

    If the start point is showing a random location and not the location that you set up in the settings, that is a different issue and we can look into it, but the most common causes for this are described in this article.

    I’d like to not default to the “start point” but rather show no list and “no stores found” message? Any help would appreciated.

    I am sorry but a start point is mandatory, this is by design.
