AutoLink Failure Way Behind Competition

  • If there were zero stars I would give this plugin zero. I own the expensive Pro version and it is a long way off its rivals at thirsty affiliates and pretty links.

    I have held back with this review for 2 months waiting for auto keywords to appear. When it does, yet again it is a complete shambles and fails to work.

    Moving files from thirsty affiliates to betterlinks fails to pick up the autolinks and instead creates errors all across your website with html code all over the place.

    And to make matter worse it fails to click all of the boxes, even when you tick them, leaving the amazon links all open for you to get disqualified for failing to follow terms of agreement.

    Customer service for the paid version is as slow and as poor as it gets. I have not had a slower customer service with any other paid software. Plus they close almost all of the tickets after sending you a reply, normally that fails to address the issue.

    I even gave them access to one of my websites and they could still not repair the issue. I do not think they even looked, to be honest.

    Really poor results so far and reverted back to THIRSTY AFFILIATES until they get this plugin fixed. Just the dashboard alone is pretty useless, putting links into categories that make no sense at all.

    The auto keywords sector, which is very important as those keywords connect to links on any of your posts needs to be spot on. The software brought all of the auto links across and gave each one a 404 page. Absolute junk at the moment.

    It also failed to tick the no-follow box for all of the Amazon links. This makes your website open to closure from Amazon should they check it until you have managed to tick all of the boxes in your links.

    At the moment I would say 12 months behind as the tool cannot get near its rivals at Thirsty affiliates or pretty links for reliabilty and useability.

    First of all, I am extremely sorry about the poor experience you have had with us. This shouldn’t be happening at all.

    Your tickets were wrongly closed even though we had actually worked on some of the issues you have mentioned. For instance, we have fixed the Thirsty Affiliates Importing issue for Auto-Keywords Linking and have shared the dev versions in your email. So, hopefully it will resolve the issue.

    Regarding the HTML Formatting issues you have faced with Auto-Link Keywords, we have found a conflict with Kandence Blocks which you are using on your website.

    We probably missed your admin access since it went to spam. Hence, we kept asking for the access. We are really sorry about it.

    And, please note that, The auto-link keywords is actually one of our new features. Hence, there are a few bugs which we are already working on to improve.

    Again, we would like to apologize for the trouble and make sure that it doesn’t happen again.

    So, we would really appreciate it if you cooperate with us and help resolve all your issues. We will make this the top priority.

    Cooperation is what I have been doing for the last 8 tickets. I will be happy to test out your dev product on one of my smaller websites. I am waiting to use it on my main websites. That was the whole point of getting back to you as quickly as possible without delay. This is the fastest reply I have had so far.

    Yes you have. And you have also added. “If it does not work” into the equation. Still not getting anywhere really.

    You cannot find the key to look at the website details I sent you even though it was on the same email link as the updated email.

    I have no time to put this back onto a website and check it again. When you are happy that the software actually works as it should do please let me know.

    I have tested it today 26th December 2021 on one of my websites and every link is a 404 page. I downloaded your latest software and it still does not work. The auto keywords are just links to keywords in a post, and not links to amazon affiliate products.

    The actual keywords that it automatically brought across were plain words at the end of the article title. They just went straight to a 404 page.

    If I could add the images here I would.

    Plugin removed again and replaced with Thirsty affiliates.

    I have one website that the links work perfect on. I have no idea why, and when I convert the other links they go to amazon. No idea why this is not working on the website I just tested it on, or any of the other websites tested on.

    This is quite strange. Please try and sort the issue out.

    Ok. I have done the import again, and this time I clicked on the BLUE LINK after the import had finished. THIS ACTUALLY WORKED. HURRAY!!!

    This was my mistake, HOWEVER, it should be pointed out in the DOCS that you need to do this or it just imposts basic links, and not the full links.

    I will now try this on my other websites.

    Nope still not working. All the links now look perfect in your plugin section. However, when I click on any post all I see is the HTML list of all 83 links at the top of the post. Seriously, something wrong….

    @kpjjf Just curious, did you ever get BetterLinks Pro working on your sites?
