Autograbbing data (feature image, etc) from links

I have been looking for years for a WordPress theme, plugin or whatever that would allow me to easily post links to pages of other websites and comment upon them: something that would auto-grab the metadata, including the headline and feature image of page, the way Facebook does, so I can link, comment, and have a post done in under a minute. I have found NOTHING in over 8 years of searching! Why oh why! Has anyone else found such a thing?
