Autogenerated list of posts (randomly) being displayed in sidebar & footer
-
In rare cases, a list of my posts is autogenerated and placed in the sidebar and footer. 95% of the time, the list of posts isn’t displayed, however, on seemingly random triggers, the list of posts is displayed. For example, if you directly navigate to the our site and scroll to the very bottom, you will see our normal footer, however, if you google our company name (The CBA Group) and click on the link, you’ll see a list of posts displayed in the footer. The list of posts will stay displayed for about 15 minutes then disappear.
This is the only trigger I am currently aware of. Oddly enough, I can actually see (temporarily) the code for the menus that is generated in my wordpress dashboard (under menus), but after 15 minutes, it disappears. I don’t even have to do anything, something just seems to be adding and removing code to my sidebar & footer.
There isn’t any funky code in my sidebar or footer, just simply html and I don’t understand how clicking a link from google is somehow autogenerating my list of posts.
Any suggestions or recommendation is greatly appreciated!
