Autogenerate gift card codes when submitted by admin

Is it possible to auto generate gift card codes when we submit gift cards from the admin area. We have a few physical shops that all need to be able to submit gift cards. For safety reasons its a must that the employees don’t have to make up the codes every time they sell a gift card.
