Autogenerate Descriptions 160 Characters vs 320

    Hello,
    I am using the plugin with the Autogenerate Descriptions option enabled but the description gets limited at 160 characters. I can’t find any setting to change this.

    In your official page you mention that Autogenerate Descriptions has 320 characters limit and although I have the latest version I get 160 characters.

    All in One SEO Pack will use your post excerpt for the auto generated meta description. If there is no post excerpt then it will use the first 320 characters of your post content

    Any way to fix this?

    @imarketingr thank you for reporting this. Somewhere late last year, Google temporarily changed the character limit for the description to 320 characters, and a few months later, they went back to 160 characters. We updated our documentation accordingly, but it looks like we missed a page. I’ve updated the page now. Rest assured that 160 characters is indeed the correct character limit for the description at this time.
