Autofocus theme home page re-placement

Hello Guys!, While using the autofocus theme, I am trying to find a way to make the home, which currently is a collaboration of previous posts, and place in a different page and it not be in the home page, I tried copying the code and making a new “template-page”, but it’s not calling the information correctly like it does with the home.php does….. Thanks!
