Autocompleted Email Not Recognized

We are testing a donation form and have discovered that if “Email” is a required field and is autocompleted by a user’s browser, the field’s data is not recognized when the user tries to complete the transaction through PayPal.
When the Email field is manually completed, its data is recognized and the transaction can be completed.
We hoped that last night’s Forminator update to v.1.17.2 would resolve the issue. However, it did not, thus we currently have the “Email” field set to optional to avoid this error.
