Autocomplete not working as expected

After I have completed watching the video in the lesson, this is still showing the “mark complete” button, and if I don’t click it and go to the next lesson, the previous lesson is not marked complete automatically. When I go back to the previous lesson the button is still there saying “mark complete”.

But if I then go again to the next lesson the system does mark the lesson as complete (because I had previously watched the video) – even though I did not click the mark complete button.

This is quite odd. Is there anything we can do about it?
