Autocomplete dropdown positioning

I’ve recently started using this plugin and it works great for the most part. However, in my theme design, I have the search box floated on the right end of a menu. When I type into the search field, the autocomplete menu that shows sometimes is too wide to fit on the page.
Is it possible to align the right edge of the menu to the right edge of the field and have it resize towards the left instead of the current behavior?
