    I am using Autochimp to email posts to a Mailchimp list as the posts are published.

    I would like to add some standard text to the header of the email that is sent out by Mailchimp (usually the header just includes the post title). So, if the post title is “This and that and the other”, the email subject line could be “Today’s blog: This and that and the other”.

    Does anyone have any ideas? Is it the Autochimp plugin or perhaps the Mailchimp template that needs tweaking?

    Any thoughts gratefully received.

  • Hope this isn’t too late to help – here’s what you do:

    Edit the Autochimp plugin (plugins, edit, select autochimp)

    search for “subject” and you will see this line
    $options['subject'] = $post->post_title;

    change it to

    $options['subject'] = "Today's blog: " . $post->post_title;

    Or whatever you want it to say before the post title (in the ” “).
