Auto Watermark turned off – images still watermarked after time

  • Turning off Auto watermark when uploading to the media library or a post works fine when you do it. The next day you find all images have been watermarked nevertheless. Seems like the plugin is running some background bulk watermarking, which affects all images which haven’t been watermarked.

    Thank you for reporting the problem, we will look into this.

    Did you disable the Auto Watermark feature in the Applying rules box on the watermark edit page? Or did you turn it off each time during the specific image upload?

    Thank you for your prompt reply.

    I did not disable auto watermarking in the settings on the watermark edit page. The issue arises when I manually turn off the auto watermarking on a single upload of an image or a number of images.

    Hello,

    Certainly, Easy Watermark doesn’t have any actions in the background, so it’s not possible that an image would be watermarked by the plugin itself when no one is doing it.

    It is really hard to say what can be a problem here then. Can you try to disable all of the other plugins you use and make an image upload test to check if any of them may be causing the problem?
