auto upload images and text files in separate directories?

Enable the upload function in your options. That’ll allow you to upload images into a set folder. I believe there’s a bug though with the code it gives you to paste after you’ve uploaded an image.

OK. I mean into SEPERATE directories according to file type, txt and .pdf into one directory , and images into another.

You will have to use ftp for that.
WP does not at present allow you to upload into more than the one directory through the admin interface.

Since you can define only one directory for uploads I don’t think it’s possible what you want without a hack in the core code.

i’ll take the hack…if antone has done it before. i’m too new to go it alone yet.

i suppose it’s not critical.
