Auto Upgrade didn't work…my site is a mess

I tried to Auto Upgrade to 3.1 (Lazy) and the installation never finished. I wient to my site and in big bold letters it had “Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.”
The upgrade still didn’t finish, I went to Fantastico to try and finish it and now 2 things have happened:
1. Fantastico doesn’t recognize that I have WordPress installed
2. My web site is there…but my theme is not applied, it can’t find my images, and it looks awful.Does anybody know what could be done to fix the install and get wordpress back up? I can’t login to the Dashboard, so I’m lost. Thanks for any help.
