Auto-Updating WordPress

Hi there everyone,

We updated our sites to the current WordPress over a year ago (v.5.1.4) and I’d love for both to update automatically, but it doesn’t seem to want to work.

Both sites are hosted in the same place, one updated but the other won’t. When I click “update” on the dashboard it takes me to our “/update_core.php” with a 404 error. I can manually update it but it was quite the ordeal last time – we lost our backups and had to do all kinds of weird things… Any advice? And if I do it manually this time, is there a way I can be sure it will update itself next time?
