  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme automatically by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

Site is back up BUT wp-admin is not working…It seems to be the theme. Hm.
I renamed the theme folder and then the wp-admin worked on the site.

Is there any way to get this theme to work, even if some features of it aren’t fully functional? WP 3.9.1

    Thanks!

What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

accende from Themeforrest – but they no longer have the theme on their site.

I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not have access to, nor do we support, commercial products here.

I’d suggest that you switch to a new theme. The other one may now simply be incompatible with the current version of WordPress and its developer is no longer updating it.
