Auto-Update Failure

  • Currently trying to upgrade my wordpress but cannot seem to find a solution to this error.

    Could not copy files.

    Installation Failed

    I’ve CHMODDED to 755, disabled plug-ins, deleted upgrade folder.. Ive run out of options to try.

  • What you could do as a possible remedy is download the core files again, Not the update and backup the WP-Config and the WP-Content Directory and replace the entire folder structure. It sounds like one of the files or folders may be corrupted or not allowing updates.
