Auto-unsubscribe from mailing list

  • Hi all. Visitors to my site can submit their email address and it will be automatically added to our mailing list. I am using the plugins Contact Form 7 and Contact Form DB to do this. Using these plugins, can I also give users the option to unsubscribe, which will in-turn automatically remove them from my mailing list?

    Or might I want to start using MailChimp to maintain my mailing list, then use the plugin AutoChimp (which has an unsubscribe feature)? Or perhaps there are other plugins that are better at maintaining mailing lists?

  • Hello! Did you manage to do this? I’m having the same issue! i’m using CT7 and CFDB to store users in my wordpress page, but i need to send them a confirmation email with the option to unsubscribe, how can i do it? Thanks in advance!

    I did not. But that project was also put on hold, so I did not follow up and look for a solution. I have a feeling that MailChimp has such a feature, whether it be through the plugin I mentioned above, or through their standalone service.
