• Hey

I am having a slight problem and it’d be great if someone can help me. So like, on my homepage, the featured images are for some reason getting auto thumbnailed to smaller sizes and a file is being generated like xxx520x245.jpg

I am trying to find out how its happening, is there a way I can track down the source file which is doing this? Possibly using Developer Tools?

  • Is this happening when/as you add them, after or when?

What is the URL of your site?

What version wordpress and what theme?

If this is happening when you insert the image in either add new or edit, it could be as simple as changing the setting.

When you add media, after you have clicked the image, on the right hand side there are some options called attachment details. Off screen at the bottom of these is “size”. This this will default to whatever you last used, so if you inserted as thumbnail at some stage, all posts will be this until you change it.

Its happening right after I added three articles today, it gets changed on the home page but its fine in the single posts. This is the URL of my website https://bit.ly/1c4sxrx

I checked the attachment details think btw, thanks for information on that but its at its original size. Have a look at the website. WordPress version is 3.5.1
