    Hey there,

I am using auto terms feature and it is not working properly as it should.

Months ago I noticed it was not working for the Brazilian word “Macaé” and I thought it was because of the letter “é” but there were some other words with “é” that were working fine.

Today, a user complained about the word “Jacarepaguá” which has nothing tagged

If we search for “macaé” there are 70 posts but only 2 were tagged by TaxoPress

For “Jacarepaguá” is even worse, search returns 637 posts but no one was tagged

How can I manage to make it works?

    Hi @joseleonardo

    Thanks for using TaxoPress.

This is a difficult one to debug remotely without understanding more of your site’s setup and what Auto Terms options you’re using. Some suggestions:

    • Carefully test to confirm what exactly is and isn’t working. Report that as a bug.
    • We have a new version of TaxoPress coming, perhaps next week. That has big changes to Auto Terms and may help.
    • Use TaxoPress Pro and allow us to check your site.
