Installed this plugin on a test site and was automatically subscribed to their email list without asking for my permission or informing me that I was going to be subscribed. I will not be using this plugin because of their bad behavior.

    Hi @lgris

When you go through the standard connect process it makes it clear you’re sharing your contact info.

You’re free to unsubscribe, But that email list is used to communicate important updates about the plug-in.

Looking at your profile it doesn’t seem like you have much good to say about any plug-ins. Try spreading some positivity in the community that you benefit from.

    Kind Regards

Your response is the one I would expect from a plugin publisher that is taking advantage of a loophole. Your plugin should be removed from the repository for spamming users. Perhaps you should write a plugin that did no spam users just for trying it out. Ironically the company I work for probably would have become a paying customer until you spammed us.

    Hi @lgris

This plugin is free, one of the requirements for listing a plugin on the WordPress repository. I’m not sure how you would have become a paying customer.

    Kind Regards
