Auto Search

Hi there,

Fantastic plugin, we’ve tried several table plugins and this is the one we love the most. It’s very close to perfect.

We had a developer implement a feature on the page linked above that will auto populate the search field in the table with a text string we input into the URL. The only problem is the user still needs to press ENTER to actually perform the search. From our developer:

“I know how to trigger event in js, but this is a plugin, and I need to say, “hey plugin trigger search on input value change,” but I couldn’t find way to do this. Maybe we can contact plugin developer and see.”

Do you have any idea how we can automatically execute a search function on a table in a page by passing a parameter through the URL?

Where SEARCHSTRING is the text to search for in the table.

We are very, very close already. We just need the table to hit ENTER to execute the search. Any ideas?
