    Hi,
Is there any way that the content of Pods fields can be saved automatically, as is the case with Post Titles and Post Content?
And how are revisions of Pods fields feasible?
I am happy about any hint!
    Thanks
    Bernhard

    Hello @bhenselmann

I’m not sure what you mean with saved automatically?
About the revisions, Pods stores it’s fields in the metadata tables by default, there are some projects that support revisions for this: https://github.com/adamsilverstein/wp-post-meta-revisions

    Hello @keraweb

    thanks for your reply!

When creating and editing posts or pages, WordPress automatically saves a revision in the database every 60 seconds. Could this be extended to pods custom fields, too?

Thanks for the link to wp-post-meta-revisions. Unfortunately this is more than 7 years old and I tried it but it seems that it is not working with actual WP version.

    Greetings
    Bernhard

    Hi @bhenselmann

    Sorry for my late reply.

This isn’t a Pods feature, the only plugin that I know of was the one mentioned.
You should search for meta revision plugins since Pods stores fields as metadata by default.
For Pods this is out of scope at the moment due to other priority features, we do have a feature request on GitHub: https://github.com/pods-framework/pods/issues/3580
