Auto Repsonder messages wrapped in HTML tags

  • Hi,
    At some point Caldera’s Auto Responder started to wrap messages going out to senders in HTML tags, like so:
    <p>Hello, and thanks for contacting ___.</p>
    <p>We appreciate your .. etc.. </p>

    Then the {summary} gets wrapped in HTML tags as well, div style tags and whatnot.

    This started happening sometimes after the 4th of december, 2019 (I know, not much traffic at the site ; )
    On the 8th Caldera was updated from v1.8.7 to 1.8.8 but rollback to 1.8.7 (from current) makes no difference.

    Has anyone experienced the same, and is able to offer a comment on how to go about solving this?
