To the developers of this plugin: First of all, thank you for making such a useful tool available to all.

I’d like to inquire if integration with an Abuse-reporting entity (such as AbuseIPDB) could be implemented in a future version. Due to the popularity of this plugin and WordPress in general, this could be a real game changer in the fight against spam and vulnerability-probing bots.

AbuseIPDB provides an API (https://www.abuseipdb.com/api.html) that can be called whenever we want to report an IP. An idea could be to add an option to call this endpoint when an ip has been added to the blacklist (e.g: “subnet blocked”). I would volunteer to implement such a feature, but the project seems not to be in GitHub.

What are your thoughts on this?

    Thanks again

Hi! A simple question: what’s the reason to send data to another proprietary DB? Actually, there will be plenty of other interesting stuff you could volunteer for in 2019.
