Auto refresh of Featured Image

Have you tried directly embedding the streams (like this one) instead of using an image?

This may be easier than using images since you would need to write a script that would routinely get new images from the webcam site.

Embedding the youtube stream; its a good idea, but it’s really not what i’m looking for. I had not tried to embedd yt yet …well I did try it now that you mentioned it, but I did not get it to work.

I really love the way your Tracks theme shows the beautiful images from the Lysefjord area. So the auto refresh function was just something that could make it even cooler ??
Do you got any ideas on how to get this to work with Tracks?

Sure, in order to refresh the image, there will need to be a Javascript function that will access the image on the webcam site and load it into your site at some timed interval. If the site hosting the webcam stream has an API available for this that would make it easier as well.

I’m afraid making this is outside the scope of support I can offer, so I would recommend checking for any livestream/webcam plugins, or hiring help through codeable.io for a customization like this.
