Auto Redirect to HomePage when Permalink Settings change

  • Hello Guys
    i am facing a weird problem on WordPress that i can’t change the Permalink Settings on WordPress when i select “Post name” option on Permalink Settings and click the save button then it redirect to website homepage and can’t save my settings

  • I’ve seen behaviour like this caused by mod_security, on the server. Try changing the permalinks setting, and record the date and time that you did. Then try asking your host if you’ve tripped any mod_security rules around that time.
