With auto return for PayPal payments, I understand that buyers do not need to click a button to return to the website from which a transaction was initiated after completing a payment with PayPal. This is set up on Paypal for the merchant account.
Can this behavior be achieved if one happens to be using the Sandbox for testing?
How does the setting ‘Return URL’ work in Settings? I got the impression specifying a value for the ‘Return URL’ would suffice for getting auto return to my website to work.

    Hi,

I guess it should work, I have not tested this myself. Why don’t you give it a try and let me know what happens. However, make sure you configure Sandbox settings correctly. Many \run into issues when using Sandbox settings.

Yes, it should work the way it is intended. Why don’t you give it a go and report back if you run into any issues. The following information helps you also configure this feature in your PayPal account.

The following documentation can help you further understand how our plugin works.

Let me know how you go.

    Thank you
