Auto redirect after changing blog urls by setting permalinks to /blog/%postname%
-
Hi,
I need to change the permalinks to custom /blog/%postname%/ so the word blog will be shown in every blog url, just before the actual postname. This is in an existing site, and the blogs and other content are up for years and showing in search results.Example:
https://broodjes-catering.nl/heerlijke-belegde-broodjes-recepten-onze-favorieten/ (old url)
https://broodjes-catering.nl/blog/heerlijke-belegde-broodjes-recepten-onze-favorieten/ (new url)
The option redirect is active in Rank Math, and the option to automatically let Rank Math redirect every change in slugs is active too.
However, when I change that slug, search results in Google form URLs without the word blog in it, go to the homepage and not automatic redirect to the url with the blog in it.
How can I get that those +2500 old blogs are automatically redirected by Rank Math after changing that slug using permalinks, please?
Thanks,
