Auto Post – Post Category

  • Hi,

    Is it possible to designate a word press category to all the posts created by auto post? Right now all auto posts are set to ‘Uncategorized’. I am able to set them as pending, then go in and change all the post categories. But it would be great if the posts could be assign a category (i.e ‘News’) as it is created by auto post.

    assign the feeds to a plugin category, then on the autopost assign that category to your wordpress category.

    OK so I would have to create a ‘plugin category’ then assign the auto posts to it, then the ‘plugin category’ posts them into a wordpress category.

    The only thing I was a little worried about is the warning that says that plugin categories cannot be deleted. Worried that things might get left behind that can never be removed.

    I upgraded and all of my old feeds began going to Uncategorized. On the Feed List, no categories were showing. The solution was to go into the Feed List, edit each Feed, and click Save Feed. This updated the information on the Feed List and the posts began going back into their proper categories.
