Auto-play videos

Hey there,
I’m having issues getting videos to auto-play once the thumbnail is clicked. If I enable that feature in the plugin settings, then when people click the thumbnails, instead of auto-playing the videos, it redirects them to the video page (and not in a new window either). Any advice?
(It’s a pet peeve of mine for any site to make me click multiple times just to play a video – because play means play! …but maybe that’s just me.)

Go to?Settings -> Video Lightbox -> prettyPhoto?menu and check to make sure the following option Autoplay is enabled?
I just carried out a test in my dev site and enabling the feature mentioned above works for me as expected. I also added the following parameter auto_thumb=”1″ to the shortcode.

Once you enable the feature mentioned above, carry out a plugin/ theme conflict test. This will help you find out if there is a conflict with another plugin or your theme.
