auto photo gallery generators and WP

  • Photoshop CS2 generates galleries automatically. Are these compatable with WP? Has anyone used them. Can’t find any info in Codex.
    I have in mind various different small galleries about different subject areas with different threads associated with each. Is thinking in terms of Photoshop along the right lines; ie the most efficient solution?

  • I’m not sure if they are compatible, but I would suggest not using them. Anything autogenerated by a program as such is pretty flakey. There are a lot of gallery plugins out there for WordPress already that you can take a look at.

    one in specific is a plugin called plogger. You could also take a look at the WPG2 plugin (WordPress Gallery2) which would let you implement Gallery2 into your WordPress install.
