Auto Order Emails Not Auto Sending

    When a customer places an order 2 separate emails should get sent, One to the customer and one to us. The one to the customer is the order confirmation, The one to us is the new online order.

    The issue I’m having is that these emails, Even though they both enabled only the customers email is sent, The one to us doesn’t get triggered. Only if I open the order and click “resend new order notification” then the email comes to us.

    The site does not use the default WordPress emailer but our own domain smtp. I have checked the email server and it only shows the customer email being sent, Nothing for us. I also installed an email logger plugin which shows the same thing.

    I have contacted our theme author but they say they do no alter any of the order or email system for woocommerce.

    • I have tried:
      Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
      Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
      Repeat the action that is causing the problem

      The issue still persists, auto emails are not sending unless I manually click resend confirmation.

    Thanks for the detailed description. Can you try and see whether the new admin order mail gets generated when you:

    * Activate WooCommerce and WP Mail Logging only.
    * Use the wp_mail(), no smtp plugin.
    * Do a test purchase via Google Chrome Incognito window.

    If that fails still, try changing your:

    PHP Time Limit: 30 >> PHP Time Limit: 300s

    Then try again. Does that change anything?
