Auto Load Next Recent Post (again)

    Hi,

    So unfortunately, I had to disable the JavaScript I coded for loading recent posts because the AJAX call was using up too much CPU when having hundreds of visitors per second.

    My next question to you is, do you think there could be another way to return recent posts instead of older posts other than using AJAX? It would be much better if it could be done using only PHP, but I think that’s probably impossible given the dynamic nature of the plugin.

    I’d be ready to code something new if we can come up of a better way to return recent posts.

    I’m sorry to hear that. I have yet had time to try what you have shared with me. I don’t have any spare time at the moment to code anything custom at this time but I appreciate the thought to work together.
