Auto Links change “→” to rarr and add &amp

    With enabled autolinks Taxopress breaks the arrow of the “Continue reading →” of posts

    with enabled Autolinks the ampersand rarr; is replaced ampersend amp;rarr; and it looks like

    Continue reading &rarr

    If I disable “autolink tags” in the settings, the problem is gone.

    normaly in the source code it looks like:
    <span class="meta-nav">&rarr;</span>

    Wordpress 5.8.2
    Theme Tropicana Premium
    Taxopress Version 3.4.4
