Auto Import/Update

    I’m having a problem getting the auto update function to work. On the ‘Import’ tab, at the bottom where the ‘Auto Import Tables’ I don’t have any options, also my older tables (which I had set up a while back to auto update) aren’t showing there. I’m not really sure what I’m doing wrong or how I can get this functionality back. I have had the TablePress Extension: Table Auto Update Plugin installed and activated. I’ve even tried a different browser but I don’t get any options to configure the updates. Oh and also, i’m running v 1.1 of the plugin, I’m not sure how to upgrade manually and not lose whatever data and settings I already have established. Any help is appreciated!

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    That’s strange. As there is version 1.2 now, updating should be our first try. To do that, just download the ZIP file, and upload the contained folder to your server, replacing the existing folder of the same name.

    Will doing the manual update replace what I’ve done? I don’t want to start over. Also, tried updating through the backend of wordpress by uploading the zip through there (not via ftp) and it said it couldn’t update..

    Hi,

    uploading the ZIP won’t work as WordPress can only install but not update plugins through this method.
    Manually updating should be safe, as the information about the auto-update is stored in the database.
    If it’s not there after the update, I’d assume that it’s already gone now (which might be causing that the fields are missing). But updating is our only change to know.
