    Hi Tobias,

Super useful plugin, and very intuitive to set up so thanks for your efforts on this!

I can see that if you manually upload a file ( in my case a .csv) that you can add, replace or append to an existing table.

However if you auto import it seems it is a direct “replace” only.

It would be great if I could select an “append” option to auto import.

The utility would be that multiple authorised users could ftp a csv to the server in a standard data format with a field for “siteID” or in my case “Loft Number”, and the auto import would merge the data into one data table to get a table that merged and compared data across users/sites.

Thanks for considering it, or pointing me to a workaround if there is one?

    Saul

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I see what you mean, but unfortunately, I can’t offer a solution here. Due to how the periodic import works, and as TablePress does not have a feature to merge data, this is not possible at this time.
My suggestion here would be to develop a custom wrapper script that loads your uploaded files and generates the desired table data on the fly, so that this could then be used as the import source for the TablePress Extension.

    Regards,
    Tobias
