    Hi,

Do woocommerce provide a function that can auto generate unique promo code for free version ? If no, then do they provide this function for paid version ?

    **Edit
However, if this function is only provided in paid version, i have a problem that i’m not sure if this will be solved after i purchase the plugin. Currently, i’m using a theme from themeforest. But this theme didn’t support the payment gateway that i’m using, so that’s why i use woocommerce. However, if i want to use coupon, there’s not enough product in woocommerce, compared to the total product in theme. It’s not tally. I can’t use coupon function provided by the theme because all the booking and order function is managed by woocommerce. It’s like there’s two party that handle my website.

    Thank you

    Hi @kmiliazainal

You can use a plugin like Smart Coupons (a paid subscription plugin from WooCommerce.com) to auto generate unique coupon codes for your customers:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/smart-coupons/#section-5

Regarding the theme and WooCommerce – I’m not sure I follow your explanation, as a theme is not separate from WooCommerce. Themes are used to display the content of the site. If your site is not functioning correctly using the current theme, I would recommend reaching out to the theme’s developer or perhaps you may want to look into switching to a different theme.

    Hi @amandasjackson

Thank you for the reply. Do i need to buy the plugin first, in order to have the smart coupon function ? Because currently i can’t see that function in the plugin.

What i’m trying to say is, i use woocommerce to handle the order only. Because only woocommerce support the payment gateway that i’m using now. So, whenever i want to create a coupon, i have to create in woocommerce. If i create it using the coupon section provided by the theme, it can’t detect or invalid, but this is not a problem. The biggest problem is the total product in woocommerce product is not tally with the total product i have in my website. FYI, i didn’t enter the product in woocommerce. Whenever i enter a product in my website, it will automatically duplicated into woocommerce product (but not all). Can refer to the image below

This is the total product that i have in my website (published)

And this is the total product in woocommerce
