Auto Flash to HTML Player

    Would it be possible to play the videos using the YouTube HTML5 player? The flash one is not as good as the HTML5 one. When I disable flash in my browser, the plugin switches the Flash player to HTML5 automatically. How can I make the player load HTML5 first and then fallback to flash if HTML5 is not supported? Please help me figure this out. Thank you in advance.

    The reason why I do not like the Flash player is because I can ‘t find the speed playback option. The HTML5 Player has it and it’s very comfortable to use. I would want to see the speed playback option on the flash player or to use the HTML5 player by default.

    I hope that this is not too hard to do.

    Only thing I see is that the flash version gets first priority and if it doesn’t work or page/code requires, it reverts to html5. Just put the url in both places so it can operate off either one that works with the site coding.

    It creates the url automatically with javascript… I don’t know how to change the code. I can paste the code here if that would help.

    Could you please update the plugin? Object embeds are already deprecated by YouTube.

    It would be better if you use iframe instead.
