    Hello everyone,

Recently I’ve found out that in my check out page the auto fill feature is only working with Hebrew. For example if I want someone to write down his City or Address he has to write it in Hebrew and only then it gives him options of cities that start with the letters he wrote

Let’s say a city called Tel Aviv, I want him to be able to auto fill it in English as well (cities in Israel that start with the letters he wrote will show up as well)

The thing is it worked a couple months ago but now it doesn’t and I don’t know how to fix it, I’ve tried a couple things but nothing worked, hopefully someone here can shed some light on the matter

To clarify the problem occurs when customers try to write their address/city in English and for some reason it erases it automatically and only allowing text in Hebrew

    Thanks

    Hi there @yarr21 ??

Thank you for contacting Woo support!

I understand that the autofill feature at your site works as expected only with Hebrew, and not with English, since a couple of months ago.

Just to clarify, how is the autofill feature implemented, and what have you tried while troubleshooting the issue so far?

Looking forward to your response. Thanks!

    Hey there @anastas10s ??

Thank you for replying first of all. Regarding the problem I wasn’t sure how to encounter it so I was trying to look for a solution or something similar in the web but found nothing.

Any thoughts on how to solve this matter?

    Thanks

    Hello again @yarr21 ??

Any thoughts on how to solve this matter?

As a first step, could you elaborate further on how is the autofill feature implemented, and what have you tried while troubleshooting the issue so far?

Furthermore, to get an idea of how your site is configured, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via ‘WooCommerce > Status’. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

I’m sorry I must have not explained the main problem appropriately, let me rephrase

The main issue atm is that people can insert inputs in the checkout page only in Hebrew (and not in English). A few months ago it did work but apparently now when someone tries to fill his address/city or whatever the system won’t let him, it automatically deletes it and it works only in Hebrew

I want to allow customers to write their information both in English and in Hebrew, I honestly don’t care if it auto completes the information, I just want the input to accept English too

Do you still need a picture of the system report?

    Thanks again

    Hello again @yarr21 ??

As you confirm, this functionality of the customers being able to write their information both in English and in Hebrew, was working some time ago, it is an indication that it now stopped due to a theme/plugin conflict.

Do you still need a picture of the system report?

Unless the aforementioned functionality was added utilizing custom code, the site’s System Status Report (SSR) would provide further insight on the current set up.

Is there any way to share the code only to you? I prefer not to share all of this information publicly here

    Thanks again

    Hi there @yarr21 ??

The WooCommerce System Status report is useful for troubleshooting issues with your store. Containing a wide variety of information and tools, you can check software versions, server settings, and more from within.

As an alternative to pasting it here, after redacting the site’s URL, you can paste it into our https://quickforget.com/ service and send that secret link here.

We await your response to better assist you.
