Auto Event Tracking tags not firing but pageviews are

Hi,
I’ve setup all the auto-events in GTM and QA’d them on a dev site. But when I push them live to my current WordPress blog the events aren’t firing.
The pageview fires on load fine just any events are not.
Are there any steps I should consider as part of a debug process? I can give access to the site if required..
