Auto-Email management plugins?

We need a plugin that will allow us to create emails using the WP editor (html emails that look nice and have variable data in them) and then reference them in the php scripts that send out our automated emails (such as confirmations when an application has been submitted…thank you emails…etc)

There are so many plugins, and I have sorted through many already and cannot seem to find one that does this. Can anyone make any recomendations for a plugin that would do this.

I am thinking that we could create a new page in the pages part of the WP admin panel for each email…
