    Thank you for the detailed explanation. To clarify, draft orders are generated when customers start the checkout process while using the block version of the checkout. These orders only appear in the ‘Draft’ sub-tab of the orders overview page, which seems to be what’s happening here.

    When using WooCommerce Blocks for the checkout process, an order is created as soon as the customer reaches the checkout page. The ‘pending payment’ status doesn’t properly reflect the state of these orders, which may be incomplete or not submitted. To address this, the ‘checkout-draft’ status is used until the order is fully submitted.
