    Hi
My suggestion is a new “Auto-disable” function idea for ‘Access denied message’ or redirect when the daily quota has run out.
    Thanks

    Hi kbarcza,

I’m not quite sure what you mean by auto disable/redirect for access denied message. Please explain in more detail.

proxycheck.io has burst tokens now, the amount you get depends on your plan. This allows your queries to go beyond your cap by five times and you’ll get a email telling you about this (if you’re registered with API key) which will give you an idea if you’ll need to upgrade.

The PVB-users can set any “Acces Denied” message (or redirect) under “Blocked Visitor Action” to take upon positive detection of Proxy/VPN.
After the usable daily queries used up and service is don’t work, this “Access Denied” message still remain for visitors who still use proxy/vpn for visit. This is a deceptive message when the service doesn’t work.

If it’s still working beyond queries exhausted then this is likely a burst token in use, it allows your queries to go beyond your cap by five times. So on the free 1,000 queries plan, using a burst token is then a maximum of 5,000 queries for that day. It is automatic and can happen X times a month depending on plan size (once in a month for the free 1,000 plan).

It would be impossible to detect a proxy or VPN without queries or a burst token being in use.

Proxy & VPN Blocker does not cache IP’s of positive detections of Proxy/VPN, only clean IP’s are cached, as to not be rechecked for the determined time (default is 30 minutes).
