Auto detect currency based on Country

Hi,

Thank you for letting us know your problem.

1. Please follow this video guide to set up for the auto -detect currency option: https://youtu.be/XIfK0AdFuk4

2. Then check your site on an incognito browser (it is the same as the case of your customers), it will not work with the admin account.

3. Testing the auto-detection by VPN app may be not correct because it sometimes generates the wrong IP for the countries you choose, so it can make our plugin detect the currencies incorrectly. It is better to check with the customers from different countries.

Hi, I have followed all the steps of the video but unfortunatelly it is still not working.

To give you more info:

ABOUT MULTICURRENCY PLUGIN

1) In general tab I put
Enable: ON
Fix Price: ON (I need to use this functionality also)
Use cache plugin: ON

2) In Location Tab:
Autodetect: Auto Select Currency
GEO API: WooCommerce
Currency by Country: ON

First Currency USD > Selected Countries > United States, Chile
Second Currency ARS > Selected Countries > Argentina (this is where I live so I should see the second currency in incognito mode, but so far it does not work at all)

ABOUT WOOCOMMERCE PLUGIN

1) In general Tab
Default Customer Location: Geolocate

2) In Integration Tab
Maxmind Geolocation it’s ON with a license Key

I am using WP Fastest Cache and I get this message:

You are using WP Fastest Cache. Please make follow these steps to help Multi Currency for WooCommerce work fine with WP Fastest Cache.

1. In WooCommerce → Settings → General → Default customer location make sure you have selected: Geolocate with page caching support
2. Open wp-config.php file via FTP then insert define(‘WPFC_CACHE_QUERYSTRING’, true);

Hi Pablo,
Does the issue occur if you deactivate WP fastest cache?
Also, please send me a screenshot of the System status page(under our plugin’s main menu).

Excellent! I talked to my host and he put a command called “option forwardfor” that we needed to suit this particular host’s architecture.
