• In an older version of our site based on a really bad CMS platform we were able to auto-create a post after uploading a document to Scribd.

User uploads PDF to Scribd, and information about the document
Using the API, a thumbnail of the document produced by Scribd and the associated text about the document was posted automatically to the CMS.

Is this kind of thing possible in WordPress using elementary PHP? I’m thinking when I upload a document to Scribd, with the accompanying details, it would using the API auto-create a post in the Magazine category so users of my WordPress site could see the latest publication.

I know of the iPaper plugin but that needs manual entry, which seems a step backwards from the way we were.

    Thanks!
