I can not find a way to turn off the auto confirmation on first login. It seems that no matter what settings I choose, when a user logs in, they are confirmed.
The way I have my site designed makes this a non-usable mechanic.

Is there a way to turn off auto confirmation via login and have all confirmation be handled exclusively through email confirmation only?

I avoid altering core code but it’s not beyond me as I know how to document my changes.

Other than this potentially deal breaking mechanic, everything else looks great. Really hope there is a way and I’m just blind.

    Thanks much,
    Schlock

Hi, actually there is not an option for that, why is it creating problem? Anyway I put that request on our feature list.

    Thank you, Stefano.

I’m using a plugin that allows auto-login right after registration. Because your plugin auto-confirms on login, one could signup with anybody’s email and sign them up for the newsletter. Not sure why one would do that but I generally don’t understand humans on the most part. But I digress.
I need to keep my site as above-board as possible.

I’m probably a rarity but having that option could only help you.
I’ll keep my eyes open and thanks for the quick response.
