Auto Closing Tabs

Hi AFX,

Thanks for using my plugin. You can achieve the look you want by setting the style to accordion. For example:

[faq style=accordion]

… where more than one box can be opened at once.

The functionality I’m looking for is like the accordian on this page: https://www.joomlanook.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=104&Itemid=73

… where another box opening closes the box that is currently open.

Is this possible?

It is very possible. You can see how the accordions are supposed to work here: https://demo.arconixpc.com/arconix-faq/#accordion

The latest image you posted makes it look like there’s some kind of javascript conflict which is why the accordions aren’t collapsing. If you look at the javascript console — CTRL + Shift + J on Chrome for Windows or Cmd + Opt + J on Chrome for Mac — you can see what errors are being fired. If you post the link I can take a look too.

As far as I can tell, the superfly-menu plugin is overriding the default accordion behavior and that’s why when you open a second accordion the first doesn’t close. Unfortunately I don’t know anything about that plugin or how to resolve the conflict short of disabling that plugin.

Not to worry John, these things happen,

I’ll contact Super-fly’s developers and see if they can assist with this issue.
